The Royal Court represents a ruler's seat of majesty and is only available to Feudal and Clan rulers of {{iconify|King}} or {{iconify|Emperor}} rank. If a character's last title of {{iconify|King}} or {{iconify|Emperor}} rank is destroyed or taken by a character of equal rank, the court becomes dormant. If the last title is taken by a character of lower rank, the court will be transferred to the new title owner. A liege character's court can be visited at any time in order to petition them. The visual appearance of a royal court depends on the architecture aesthetics of the realm capital's culture.

On the court screen, adult characters have the option to Hold Court every 5 years. Holding Court costs 100 {{iconify|Prestige}} for a {{iconify|King}} and 125 for an {{iconify|Emperor}} and triggers 3 random petition events.

An optional event will take place inside a Royal Court every 24-32 months, indicated by an icon above the involved characters. When such an event takes place, the player will be notified that something is happening within the Royal Court.

Each ruler will have the option to choose between two court types based on the Culture's ethos. Court types determine some additional bonuses that the court will grant at certain levels of grandeur, as well as which courtier trait a courtier will gain after spending 5 years at a court with grandeur level 5. If a ruler's Culture is changed, they can still keep their old court type.

Court language is the language spoken by a court. If a King or Emperor knows the same language as their court, the court will gain Court Grandeur based on each county in their realm that speaks the same language. This bonus is increased by {{green|+25%}} if the character's culture also uses the same language.

== Court grandeur ==
Court Grandeur is a measure of how famed a royal court is. Each court will have a baseline Court Grandeur, which is determined by dynasty legacies, court amenities and court artifacts. Court Grandeur will be raised or lowered towards the baseline at a rate of 0.2 per month, which is doubled if the ruler's dynasty unlocked the second [[File:Glory legacy track.png|24px]] Glory dynasty legacy. Court Grandeur can also be raised or lowered by holding court and certain events can affect it. A small amount of Court Grandeur is also lost upon succession. Once enough Court Grandeur has been acquired the grandeur level will increase, granting various benefits. If Court Grandeur falls below a level's required amount the bonuses will be lost in 6 months unless Court Grandeur is raised back.


Courts for newly created kingdoms and empires start with 25 Court Grandeur.

塞尔柱朝廷

朝廷(Royal Court)或帝王宫廷,代表着统治者的威严之地。只有 封建制、 氏族制、 部落制、 游牧制或独立 行政制的 国王及以上统治者才能拥有朝廷。若一个角色最后的至低为 王国头衔被同级角色摧毁或夺取,其朝廷将被暂时停用;其反若被级别较低的角色篡夺,朝廷将被转移给新的头衔持有者。封臣可以随时访问 领主的朝廷,以便向他们请愿。朝廷的视觉外观取决于 领地首都文化的建筑风格。

朝廷界面内成年角色可每5年举办一次朝会。举办朝会的费用为: 国王花费100 威望而 皇帝花费125 威望。举办朝会将引发3次随机请愿事件。

每24~32月内 朝廷将触发一个事件,其会相关角色上方会有图标指示。事件发生时玩家会被告知在朝廷出现了一些待处理情况。


宫廷类型[编辑 | 编辑源代码]

每一位统治者都可以根据其 文化的民族精神在两种宫廷类型中进行选择。每种宫廷类型都根据宫廷显赫度等级为统治者和宫廷提供一组增益并决定廷臣在5级宫廷显赫度等级的宫廷生活5年后会获得的廷臣特质。等级效果将随等级提升逐步叠加,不同宫廷类型等级效果的门槛不同。改变宫廷类型需花费500 威望。宫廷类型还决定了哪些请愿事件更常见。若统治者文化改变,其仍可保持原有的宫廷类型。

谋略型 让宫人不受管制是危险的,我们必须确保没人在干坏事时能不被我们知道。
学识型 宫廷就是要吸引温文尔雅、拥有杰出能力的人才。
部落 宫廷中,强权即是真理——大厅理应装饰着战利品和财物!
游牧 我们的宫廷带着千万只马蹄驰骋,弯弓与刀剑在这里至高无上。荣耀通过征服获得,我们的人民以战利品为生。

宫廷语言是宫廷中所说的 语言。若一位国王或皇帝懂得其宫廷语言,则其 朝廷将根据其领地中说起宫廷语言的伯爵领规模获得 宫廷显赫度。若其 文化语言也为其宫廷语言则 +25% 该宫廷显赫度增益。

多个朝廷使用同一种语言也都会获得额外宫廷显赫度。将一种语言作为宫廷语言的宫廷显赫度最高的统治者必须懂得其宫廷语言,而其他使用该语言的统治者则不需要。不同宗教的同种宫廷语言统治者 -50% 所提供增益,而不同政体的同种宫廷语言统治者 -25% 所提供增益。

统治者每5年可通过花费750 威望改变宫廷语言。宫廷语言必须是统治者 文化的语言或者外交范围内另一统治者的宫廷语言。

宫廷舒适度[编辑 | 编辑源代码]

宫廷舒适度是增加宫廷显赫度并提供各种增益的一项每月支出。每一级的费用都与统治者领地的规模、收入、政体及其文化的时代有关。宫廷舒适度的水平每年只能提高或降低一次,且 部落制统治者无法解锁最后三个级别。每级效果不能叠加。
