宗教决定一个角色信仰哪些神灵和圣人。

圣地

被特定信仰视为神圣的男爵领被称为该信仰的圣地。每个被特定信仰控制的圣地都会为该信仰下的角色提供一个持续性的增益。对于大多数宗教,其下所有信仰有着相同的圣地。大多数宗教中,每个信仰有5个圣地,但有些拥有更多。所有亚伯拉罕宗教组的信仰都视耶路撒冷为圣地。

宗教组

任何信仰都隶属于某个宗教组,宗教组会影响信仰敌对度的计算。拥有  Ecumenism, Sunni, Shia 或  Muhakkima 教义的信仰将其他拥有同一教义的信仰视为迷途。也有其他一些核心教义能够修正信仰敌对度。

信仰敌对度

每个信仰对其他所有信仰都有负面看法,负面程度取决于宗教组。

信仰的组织性

信仰的组织性描述了各个信仰的组织化程度与条理程度。信仰可以分为有组织的和未改革的,各有优缺点。所有原始宗教组中的信仰和少数东方宗教组的信仰在剧本开始时是未改革的,而所有亚伯拉罕宗教组和绝大部分东方宗教组中的信仰是有组织的。

美德与罪恶

宗教或信仰会将某些特质视为美德或罪恶。一些核心教义会增加拥有两倍效果的美德或罪恶。

宗教的影响

宗教有两个主要的影响。首先,每个宗教有一系列的罪恶与美德。另外,宗教决定了其骑士团偏好何种兵士。
